Certainly Lane could find a spot for his old friend in the new regime. Wouldn’t be a terrible idea.

That’s like hiring Bobby Patrino as your OC or signing Ryan Fitzpatrick as your backup qb. Nothing good will happen.

The only affiliation O should have with the program is maybe as like a PR guy who says funny stuff and takes pictures with fans. He's good at that.
