Scott is as professional as they come. His strength is print journalism, so you're right that he's not as smooth in interviews. The Advocate is lucky to have him in my opinion.

I think I've posted this comment about 20 times over the past 5 years, but I swear Rabalais hates LSU. He quite literally never has anything good to say about the team. He only ever comes out in times like this and joins in on the shitting on the program.

Over the years, most have said that he's not hard enough on the program. He seems pretty balanced to me and is not looking for attention like Guilbeau or Finebaum.

He does need speaking coaching but at least Finebaum didn't use Guilbeaux, his usual go to for LSU BS.

His last two takes on coaches at LSU were that Jay Johnson was not a home run hire and that LSU made a mistake not hiring Billy Napier and would regret it.
The Napier take has a dash of truth in that I am sure LSU wishes they had Napier's buyout since it would have been much cheaper

He was writing for the Reveille as a student when I was at LSU in the '80's. He is very much pro-LSU.

Rousse should be the guy. That being said, I wonder how well he knows Coach O... could have him come back to recruit the river parishes, DTB and coach the d-line with Kyle Williams.
