Many, if not all, of you will likely shame me for making this suggestion but her me out.

What about John Gruden ?

I know I know, he said some things he should not have said - but who is perfect - Certainly not me.

He is a winner. And that is what we need.

Well, I submitted it, now I will await the criticisms.

I cant stress how perfect Lane Kiffin would be for this job.

He has all the experience needed.

I don't think he will leave Leave Miss.

Just MO.

He's basically Jeff Fisher with a ring from over 20 years ago.

I don't think so either, if he does it'll be for more money than he's currently worth. If you want to make a play for Kiffin, the offer will have to be the same as what he's currently making and make him choose the school. You can get Gruden for lower with incentives and potentially more upside.

Postscript.

I just noticed that Chicken has Gruden on his list If it's good enough for the Most Noble Chicken, it should be good enough for anyone !!

I’d rather see Sean Peyton if we go the nfl rout

I don’t think many here including me cares about what said that got him fired from the NFL.
The thing with Gruden is his name is not Jimmy Johnson and that’s who we’re after.

Well, I thought about that as well, but I think Gruden is more of a winner. I am definitely a Peyton fan, since I am from NO, and an avid Saints fan, but I think Gruden would provide more spark.

Speaking of spark, that is what I like about Van Buren.

Just saying,

If Gruden, Saban, Bear Bryant and others are legitimate candidates, I'd like to throw a name out: Donald Trump.

If he can run the country, he can run our football program. TDS will mess with our opponent's concentration, and he looks good in LSU purple.

You've seen the Bill Belichick experience at North Carolina, right?

Gruden was less successful and has been out of the game longer.
