He comes here if he wants to win a championship.

He stays there if he wants to be their brand.

Of course they can. If he leaves, it won’t be over money. I’m sure Ole Miss is working on a hell of a contract extension

He is playoff bound this season. He’s winning with a D3 QB. No reason to leave.

He could damn near do that this year in his current job!

Ultimately, LSU could pay more. Better opportunity in Baton Rouge. Better resources, blue blood, better access to premier athletes, championship pedigree. LSU is the whole package for someone wanting to build a dynasty.

Closer doesn’t mean capable. Ole Miss just isn’t capable to do so. I’d be willing to bet my house they don’t win it this year either and that’s with striking lightning in a bottle with a D3 QB that’s lighting up SEC defenses and saved Ole Miss’s season.

Things are so different in the NIL era - he has the resources at Ole Miss. The talent he had last year was as good as any teams in the country, and he had a veteran QB who is starting games in the NFL right now and he still lost to 3 teams that had less talent that his team.

We can do better.

Let's see who is available and who is interested. I'm sure for me there would and will be several I'd prefer over Kiffin. Not that I'm an authority....I'm not but I really honestly think we can do better.

LSU’s recruiting advantage isn’t near what it used to be. The NIL era changed everything.

Schools like Indiana, Ole Miss, and even Vanderbilt are capable of making the playoff and winning now.

If he comes here he gets to play night games.

It won’t be because money. It will be because of facilities. LSU plays in front of 100k and what’s ole miss play in front of, 60k. Football facilities are better overall and LSU is more of a national brand than ole miss. Hell, just the name ole miss and it’s negative past probably makes it difficult to recruit.

LSU is the only school in a talent rich state and NIL has made it more difficult, but LSU is willing to put up the money just like they did this year. Even kiffin complained how much LSU spent this year.
