He still tries to sing songs in the original keys (which he should probably reconsider), but what a talent.

Don and Mel so effed him over, I feel bad for him. Jealous little pussies they are.

My ears are still ringing from seeing Bloodrock and Grand Funk a few years before this show. Thanks for posting. Wish I had this on dvd.

I had (may still have) both the Bloodrock (DOA) and Grand Funk albums (We're an Am Band) albums from that era. Literally some of my first albums with Led Zep II and Black Sabbath (Masters of Reality)

One of my all-time favorite bands. Just watched this interesting video a few nights ago. So sad.

If this was at the Forum I was there. Fantastic concert. The only thing I remember about it was a girl sitting right behind us with HUGE fun bags.

I really didn't know what had happened until I watched the video above. They really do suck for doing that to him.

Their manager sucked too. It seems like a lot of the bands back then were getting screwed by their managers.

Thanks for posting this.

Watched it last night. Sad. I can't believe they did Farner like that.

Their manager should be hanged too.

Love that "Footstompin' Music"...it's an awesome opening song.

It's one of my go-to driving down the highway songs.
