Is a good chance of cause for termination. Depends on the contract, of course, but it definitely loosens the shackles of that contract.

Some of yall scare me with how confident you are in the nonsense you say out loud.

That insubordination may have been him intentionally trying to get fired for the payout rather than limp along for another month waiting for it to happen

Huh? BK wanted to fire other guys in addition to Sloan and Woodward didn’t want to do that

They way some of you don’t understand orders and accountability is even scarier.
The dude didn’t obey a direct command from his superior, we’re an at will state. Game over.

Do you think full control of staff decisions wasn’t in his contract?

Kelly was a contracted employee, the rules aren't the same as an hourly employee flipping burgers.

Kelly not firing Sloan when told to will be argued as misconduct or willful failure to perform duties. That’s a violation of his contract, therefore breach of contract. Moron.

Are you under the impression that LSU Football is a part of the Military? That the UCMJ is the guideline by which employees are deemed to be in breach of contract?

When they pay a large portion of the buyout because this isn’t a thing, will you shut the frick up?

I agree, because Kelly was dropping F-bombs on him last night.

Someone has a thread that says he wanted to fire Sloan but he didn’t want to fire Davis

O Line is the root cause.
Kelly needed to go if he didn’t think the OL needed a change.

we’re an at will state. Game over.
Also, your interpretation of an at will state wouldn't even require any sort of "cause" to terminate the employment without penalty
