It’s crazy he couldn’t see what was required of him to at least just look like he wanted to win. Bare minimum. If he feigned “doing what it takes to win” he would’ve bought himself a year

I can’t understand why he wouldn’t help with offensive development of o-line in practice. How could you retain a coach that wouldn’t do this

Kelly and Nuss have the same agent. Nuss is making a few million this year to come back. It’s the sad world of NIL

Same with Sharp. Green is a better TE but you don’t pay Sharp what you did to sit him.

Good luck asking for 20 million in NIL each year to eventually not play them half way through the season because you can’t evaluate talent correctly.

Exactly like I don’t think he’s a great coach, but after decades of coaching experience he seemed to just go home everyday and think this would resolve itself?

Yeah, because the offensive line will suddenly not be a turnstile.

He could have just had the fans call a few plays ... guaranty fans would have never called a 3yd pass on 4th and 4.

I agree Nothing that has anything to do with his tenure at LSU. But before that at grand Valley State, Cincinnati, and Notre Dame, he was considered an excellent play calller. Fell into the role of CEO.

I think installing 5 turnstiles would do a better job at stopping the defense than our OL

And then we fire him after the season?

Because he knew playcalling was not the issue. If he took over and nothing improved, where is the scapegoat?

Now why didn’t he throw all attention to the O Line is no one’s guess.
