We were the all alone flagship school in a talent rich state. Texas, Alabama,South Carolina, Florida and even fricking Mississippi had to split their homegrown talent.

If NIL is here to stay, I think we look back and see many years of wasted opportunity.

Everything sucks

Don’t understand how we are worse off than others. I also think at some point limitations will be put on NIL.

Yes it is. It's a big part of the many problems.

No. LSU’s blue chip ratio is high. Talent is not an issue.

This only proves my point. That program is great because it has the largest support of probably any college in the country. It's been winning BECAUSE of NIL

LSU cannot afford to fund both the baseball and football programs to a high level ... And forget about basketball.

Its not that we're worse - it's just that it was a lot more fun when us and Alabama were the only two schools that installed NIL 10 years before it passed. This parity thing where everyone gets to do it sucks.

It’s the portal and free transfer. It has very little to do with NIL

You have it backwards. Some teams were helped more than LSU. Many were hurt more. Look at the small schools that can no longer keep a stable roster. They were the ones that were fricked.

I'm talking about teams that legitimately competed for a natty. It does make small schools ever more irrelevant but they weren't playing in bowls past new years anyway.

Kids can leave every year as they wish and jump from school to school on free transfers. If they had to sit out a year like in the past that would likely solve the problem. You could make a rule if they dropped down a level they play immediately. You are getting downvoted into oblivion, but whatever. LOL

He graded out 0.0 for the A&M game. that is some serious talent.

Do we not have a 20 million dollar roster this year? Stop blaming NIL, the coach was and is the problem
