Does LSU or could LSU have a sponsor willing to pay and presumably have a lot to say about the next coach?

Penn St is switching to adidas in 2026 so they wanted a fresh name to go along with their 300M investment

Get an exclusive contract for only Miller Miller light to be only beer sold in Tiger Stadium for five years and let them pay the buy out.

No they did not.

4 really pissed off boosters wrote 4 checks that totaled about 40 million for Franklin to leave that day.

Nope that report was BS. Luckily for us, Franklin's contract has a mitigation for whatever job he takes next, so the buyout may be low for us relative to it's originally reported value.

That dude could pay the buyout and not even notice . He won't do that, but he could.

Kind of but not really. Penn State got a signing bonus for the deal and will most likely use that to pay the buyout.

Adidas is indirectly paying it.

Terry Pegula likely paid Franklin’s buyout by himself. I’m sure he had some arrangements made with other Penn State boosters but he is capable of fronting a whole lot more than that amount without blinking.
