BK won’t be fired this cycle

LSU admin will slow play this. BK is still Woody’s guy. LSU admin has slow played these firings every time. Unfortunately we will be subjected to another year of apathetic coaching and regression.
BK sucks but the buyout is too big, and donors aren’t about to step up and pay that much for Woody to go make a random hire

Hell the boosters may not trust Woody to replace BK after how abysmal this hire has turned out, but that just means they'll also replace Woody. Sure he's made great hires with baseball and Women's Basketball but football is what really drives athletics at LSU. I can see them applying that kinda pressure in this situation.

We, Irish fans love that this guy is gone. He's a joke and makes horrible decisions....just look at his fake southern accent when he arrived at LSU and look at this horrible decision right out of the gate...

This a sunk cost fallacy. You basically are tossing money out the window by keeping a lame duck coach that’s destroying your team. It’s also not a lump sum. It can be paid out over time. It can get worse than it is if you keep him. I don’t see a way out for him. My true hope is they structure a reduced buyout and allow him to “retire”

This may be, but this was supposed to be LSU's year to make the playoffs. This year is a total disaster and we still have Bama and Oklahoma yet to play. So what are we going to do, go another year of this or fix the problem now?
