Fellow ranters, I agree with you all 100% but listening to Hanny last night. We have a serious problem on our hands. Who does the athletic director answer to? He answers to the president of the University. We as of now do not have a president of LSU. We have an interim president and you can rest assured he will not make the decision to get rid of Scott Woodward. So then you turn to the board of supervisors who answers to our Governor, Jeff Landry. Of course Jeff Landry has already spoken out which I will agree with him on that. He better think twice about raising ticket prices and parking permit prices when you just had a shellack and put upon you last night. So where do we go from here? Who takes the bull by the horns and makes the decision is the big question?

While the contract was outrageous, it’s literally how every big name coach is hired nowadays. I bet you don’t criticize the bball or baseball hires.
I’d venture to say that the overall hire was pretty good at the time but man, after a few years of this it’s looking like Kelly is a dud.
Honestly, I really hope this reigns in these crazy contracts where they have ZERO accountability and get paid after they are fired .
