I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America (World Series)

And to the Republic for which it stands,
one nation under God,
indivisible,
with liberty and justice for all!
We come together as a nation to rally behind the great American city of Los Angeles and America’s Dodgers as they seek to defend the sacred honor of the World Series from some liberal Canadians. As disgraceful as it is that the World Series starts in Canada, Trump’s blessing follows the Dodgers to that frozen hellhole.
Now is the time to choose: are you a MAGA man cheering for the Dodgers, or are you a liberal Trudeau lover pulling for Canada? The choice is yours.

How many AL teams have beaten the Yankees in a playoff series in recent years? Most of them?
Why is Jerry so hung up on the Blue Jays?

Amazing post. I do not want either team to win, but I cannot wait until 2026 when our Captain leads our Great Nation into the Promised Land at the WBC!

Yeah, polling and commentary suggested a heckin' surge in Canadian national pride and support for the Edmonton Oilers against the US-based Florida Panthers, with Donald Trump's tariffs and talk of annexation acting as a catalyst for widespread backing.
It's even more tense now.
quote:
?The surge of support for the Blue Jays might even be more widespread than for the Oilers for one simple reason:
?One Team for a Whole Country: Unlike the NHL, which has multiple Canadian teams, the Blue Jays are the only Major League Baseball team in Canada. When they succeed, they become a single, undisputed rallying point for Canadian baseball fans from coast to coast.
?In short, the Blue Jays' World Series run, combined with Trump's trade actions and political rhetoric, has created a massive, patriotic sports moment for Canadians. They are not just rooting for a team; they are rooting for their country to hit a dong in America's favourite game.
