Calling us spoiled in that UF post-game presser. To Hell with you, Coach.
YOU….yourself…..set these expectations way back in the Spring.
“See you at the National Championship.”
“Best roster I’ve had.”
“Nussmeier had a season 1 - season 2 offseason akin to Jayden Daniels.”
On….and on….and on.
Listen, jackass, if you actually saw this team practice and felt this, I’m even more concerned.
This man is a fraud and he’s been checked out and he’s ruining his own legacy. It’s not exactly classified info that he is unsettlingly hands-off as a head coach.
This is precisely why it always seems we are chasing problems rather than getting ahead of them.

He’s a “Make Excuses” kindof coach. Blame everyone else, throw kids under the bus, not correct in game or in season issues. We want a coach that has a standard and his team plays to that standard.

He needs to go. How many times do we need new posts stating the same thing?
Are you just venting? Everything you said has been said 100 times in the last 5 days.

If I were in that presser, where he threw that tantrum….
“Uhh, Coach, we may be spoiled….after winning 3 national championships since the start of this 21st century …. Championships that you have NO EXPERIENCE obtaining”

He doesn't want to acknowledge the reality of the performance offensively.. that we weren't mad vs Florida because we won. We just had the foresight to realize that playing like this would lose every single SEC road game. It was obvious, but he didn't want to acknowledge it.
That's what concerns me most is that he doesn't want to acknowledge piss poor play. That will lead to MVB never playing this year, because he doesn't want to acknowledge just how bad Nuss is between being a completely immobile QB, to allowing Defense to attack RB on RPOs bc they know how Nuss never keeps it, to being an 'at best' average to below average SEC QB.
In AA, the first step is coming to acknlowedge that we were powerless over alcohol. Acknowledgement is almost half the battle in any situation in life. Solution action is the next half.

He's keeping all the receipts too...
I wish we would've kept the receipt and returned his arse.

He ALWAYS blames the players. And I’m sure they don’t appreciate it.

Ok, sometime last year I heard Hanigriff I think say that he was spending way too much time at the golf course. Is this what you mean by hands off or Is there more. It tracks with me because when he's pitching with someone on the sideline they always have a look of "frick this guy" and a lack of respect which is not what you get from a coach that's always there grinding with you. The fact that he went into this season with those OL and that OL coach further makes me believe hes not keeping an eye on these things. Thinking that Davis, Mubenga, and Chester were viable options are unforgivable

CFB adopting PAY FOR PLAY has created a financial monster. We are witnessing the result when many of these new millionaire players perform at or below levels of average players…and it’s very common.
Also, no sympathy here for all these coaches receiving contracts which guarantee multi-generational wealth with expectations of elite success. They knew going in what they signed up for.

To be fair. The practices leading up to Clemson were actually pretty impressive. The offensive line issues were apparent in the team sessions but the offense would still hit some big plays. The defense was very dominant and our DBs and receivers looked really good. Hilton was the star for the first part of camp and then all of sudden that fell off.
So to be fair practice you would not have been able to see that this team had a terrible offensive structure. The substitutions that we are doing in the receiver group that is hurting the offense was not going to be seen in practice. Also despite what anyone wants to admit. Nuss when he got nicked set this offense back. Ruffino and some others are trying to claim Nuss was not "injured." However, Nuss was in such pain he went to 2 different doctors because he couldn't operate without pain and it impacted his ability to throw. -
The offense tried to put MVB out there but he struggled immensly which is why the staff made the decision to not let Nuss heal and let him try to play through it. I believe that was the wrong decision but again you were not going to see that just in practice. The team looked good outside of a few struggles on the Oline but the offense still got big plays against the defense so it just seemed like it would only be a matter of time before the line would gel.

We will see what his post game rhetoric is if he takes a loss Saturday night in “Death Valley.” “We Have to Coach Better.” Imagine That!
