I went a few weeks ago for the first time. The NY strip medium rare was outstanding. One of the better steaks I've had recently.

It is. Also I'll add they advertise Pittsburgh style but I was always under the impression that meant "black & blue" - charred exterior and rare interior. But theirs is really a charred pepper crust, cooked to your liking.

We also had the mozzarella sticks and thick cut bacon for apps which were pretty good. I had the French Onion soup, which I could've done without. Wife had the crab cakes which were a decent size and plenty of lump crab.

In short I'd recommend. Prices are a little steep but that's the norm these days. They have different specials during the week that make it more cost effective.

First I’ve heard of this and was looking for a new place to take my wife for her birthday this weekend.

Yeah I ordered the Pittsburgh style and it wasn't what I expected.

It's owned, I believe, by the guy that use to own Brisbi's out on the lake

The prices are laughably outrageous for Metairie

Never been but I’ve heard enough negative reviews from people that I would never eat there.

Yes, he and a few others. He and a few others own Hog Alley and maybe Evangeline, too.

I mean back when they were last open previously I would go on occasion but I was in my teens and early 20s then and it was cheap as hell. I prowled the streets of metry

I don't use my own money on steakhouses generally and haven't been to the new one
