Miami is a front running town. No one is really from here and most of the Canes fans are high school dropouts outs or Marieltos living in Hialeah.

When they lost the orange bowl the attendance got worse. The orange bowl was pretty cool with the palm trees on the one end zone

1. Spot on. Crowd sucks.
2. It’s an NFL stadium. No college atmosphere.
3. I do enjoy a meaningful game on Thursday or Friday night.

Even in the 80’s they only sold out FSU or Notre dame. Every other game was 70% full max.

There are 3 types of Miami fans that I’ve met:
#1- of of the 5 people I’ve met who actually went there
#2- middle aged black guys who fell in love with the “swagga”, fatigues, personal fouls and unsportsmanlike conduct and dream that it will return. Also dream the program will return to championship prowess. They typically also like the Lakers and the raiders. They hate the Celtics and Duke. They have never been below Orange County and are from Atlanta, Memphis, Little Rock, etc. They work in a warehouse, drink OE 800, smoke grape White Owls, and drive a charger or challenger. They baby momma drive a Altima.
#3 - middle aged white guys who fit the same mold as the aforementioned black guys. They wear wife beaters, thick gold chains, flat billed caps placed sideways, baggy shorts, blade type sunglasses, beat up high tops, and have cheap arse tats. They listen to 2 live crew, limp biskit and pitbull. They drive a beat up xfiniti or late 90’s Lexus.
