Is this our Buddy? Cool to hear about the tech that is in these cameras. I've got a bunch of Brownings that are 3 or 4 years old and every month or so another one craps out. Think I may give these a shot when I restock.

Thx for the podcast post, that’s my son Cole. He’s been with WiseEye for about 4 years now. He’s in the Digital Marketing team.

He’s an expert in all things WiseEye.

I just wrote an article about the history of the company.

Nice write up. Cool info on all the capabilities of the cameras. Maybe a little overkill for our little swamp lease, but I think i'm going to try these out when I replenish as ours die off.

I have 1 mini and 2 D2's. The mini is set to video and takes great vid's, sometimes it takes a still pic. The D2's when set to video doesn't seem to act right....have to request the video and it doesn't always come. I've had to do some firmware updates and they sent the SD cards for that pronto.
Customer service is TOP NOTCH!!

Occasional still picture is actually your check-in picture. Should do that once a day at the same time.

DC2 communications have been updated to a new system hence the firmware updates.

Keep in mind that camera settings can often dictate the speed in which a request is delivered.
On the DC2 if it’s set to four times a day check-in then the request will come in on the next check-in cycle.

They are a customer success focused company.

Thanks Gauxt

I know they are going to be moving soon. However I don’t have specifics yet. In 6 years they have outgrown 4 buildings.

I have been running them for a few years, they work great. Currently have 4 DC-2's with solar panels.

Worked through a firmware update issue recently on a few. I agree their customer service is top notch and very responsive. Actually received an email response on a Sunday afternoon.

Good to see a local company putting out a solid product and standing behind it.

I actually listen to that podcast episode earlier this week. Was awesome to hear the back story of the company.

For what it’s worth I started running WiseEye cameras two years ago. Set each one up with a solar panel and haven’t touched them since. I’ve yet to have a single issue. Cameras functions flawlessly.

Needless to say I’ve never needed to use their customer service, but apparently it’s the best in the industry.

Someone bought my dad 2 wiseeye cameras. I have to set them up for him. Do I need a subscription for each camera?

Just make a HuntControl account.
Define your camera quantity.
Add your cams.

What model cams?

I’ve got two in Kansas right now. No problems and seem easy on batteries. AI doesn’t always get the critters right, but I’m sure it’s continually improving.
