I usually love October baseball but just can’t get into it much this year knowing the Dodgers will win it all and probably with very little drama. Brewers are done. And Blue Jays and Mariners are great stories but probably have little chance against the Dodgers.

I don’t think it’s a necessarily a bad thing to have “bad guy”. A team to root against. But they can’t be so good that it’s a foregone conclusion and the other teams have zero chance. Dodgers basically jerked off all season and turned it on and are going to cruise to a title.

The first two rounds were incredible with some really good baseball being played. So far not so much in the LCS but it’s still a little early.

Yes, the Dodgers seem to be hitting their stride at the perfect time and in the playoff format they have found a way to cover for their horrific bullpen, by using starters in that role.

The Brewers may take one. I do think Seattle could give them a good run.

The irony of it is the Dodgers have monopoly money due to their tv contract which lasts for like another 20 years and is more than double anyone elses, even the Yankees - and that's before any other revenues like attendance, merchandise sales, etc. They don't even need to defer money, so yes it is ridiculous. And yes there will absolutely be a lockout in 26 and may well mean no baseball most of if not all of that year.

Three of the Wild Card series went to a game 3. Two of the Division series wen to a game 5. The Mariners/Tigers 15 inning game 5 walk off was one of the most exciting post season games ever. What do you need to get excited? More DONGS?

I've enjoyed them greatly. That Tigers/Marlins series was epic.

Playoff baseball is my favorite.

If there's a lockout it will affect the 2027 season.

I stand corrected, but there will absolutely be missed games and lots.

They walked the Rangers off this summer in Seattle and it was electric in their stadium. It had the feel of that unidentifiable “something” that gives you the championship vibe. Compared to the crowds in Arlington this summer which was like a corporate picnic where nobody says shite.
