I’m no Pate lover and tend to only listen to him in pre-season when I’m dying for anything outside of this cesspool. But at least he gives reasoning for his picks, and he also says what can NOT happen in his prediction. And then he usually comes back and eats his crow. Sometimes he justifies his incorrect pick, but at least he goes out there and makes his picks known with reasoning and then comes back to them. Y’all are mad he’s wrong a lot? Who the frick isn’t wrong a lot? Look at this board weekly.

I’m convinced this board hates EVERYTHING. Replace 4 starting oline men and it’s taking time for the new YOUNG oline to jell like everyone knew it would. HATE EM. 4000 yard QB plays through an injury severely holding him back HATE EM. Go to ole Miss down our starting rb starting te and lose our best wr lose by 5 Offense sucks HATE EM. Pate who is as right as anyone about college football because he doesn’t fit the narrative of LSU sucks HATE EM. We should change the site name to Tigers HATE EM

This is a nonsense argument. I don't make predictions. I also don't pretend to be an expert. And there is no doubt that Pate did both of the things the guy you alluded to said he did.
Aside from that, I find him interesting, though I often find his reasoning flawed, and occasionally he makes arguments for one team that seem to directly contradict arguments he makes against another.
