Sorry if old news, I haven't seen it brought up yet and saw this video today... What are your thoughts? This dudes family is acting like the usual victims but this guy was a convicted felon, lied to the trooper about not having a gun and tried to drive off while putting the officers life in danger... seems pretty reasonable to me that deadly force was authorized!

Every one of these has the same common denominator, Not Obeying A Police Command.

I wonder what the true statistics are, but are 95% of black males in the US a convicted felon?

I just don’t understand the instinct to run by some people when they’re pulled over by the police. Why risk the chance of something bad happening to you?

Homie knew he was going back to jail so common sense immediately kicked in and he tried to kill the cop.

That's what the music said to do...

This isn’t the common denominator that I noticed

I think use of deadly force was reasonable. However, I would point out almost all of the shots are fired as the perp is driving away. That being said, the cop may have thought the perp was going to reach for the gun. Hard to fault the cop on this one.

Suspect exercised a good attitude initially. I would bet had he not gotten stupid with the officer AND not had a gun in plain view on the floor board, no problem would have occurred.

But no, we had to have weed, we had to smoke weed in the car, and we had to attempt flight.

Play stupid games……

yeah, I am pro-cop but was it necessary to shoot him when he was driving away?

Saves the planet if you connect with a good shot.... don't have to chase the perp while burning all them fossil fuels
