Moore and Thompson played their best game of the season. Echols wasn't perfect but I think we can see he's better than Mubenga. Let Curne take over at RT and we might have something.

He was also going up against Stewart on several of those plays, and he’s one of the best DL in the SEC. He pretty much focused on Echols and Davis all night. I’m interested to see if he holds up better vs Vandy. They are good and well coached, but they don’t have anyone physically on that level.

He also had 2 or 3 key run blocks, with one being one of the 2 big chunk plays. He’s definitely inconsistent but may still be an overall upgrade over Mubenga.

Weston Davis is terrible and Tyree Adams isnt much better. I would definitely put Curne at RT, we are stuck with Adams at LT. It says a lot that Echols played the entire game and DJ Chester never got a snap. Mubenga is out multiple weeks, isn’t he?

That’s just objectively false. He may be average, but he’s been by far and away the 2nd best and most consistent player on the OL behind Moore. The PFF grades have lined up on that all season.

The primary issues have been Thompson not living up to his NIL pay like Moore, neither Mubenga or Echols taking steps at LG and by 10,000 miles, Davis has been the worst and least consistent player on the OL.

If we had 3 other guys playing as well as Moore and Adams, we would be just fine

he has his struggles, but I will say this, he is the only one on the offensive line who consistently works up to the next level and is looking for people to block.

He played at Guard in the bowl, but he doesn’t even show up on the depth chart at Guard or Tackle right now. Ory Williams is ahead of him and he only saw the field vs SELU.

There is something to work with. Echols has a little of that mean streak and wants to finish guys.

He's our 4th TE, only used in jumbo packages.

One constant refrain from the staff and program media like On3 and 247 is that’s he’s the strongest player on the OL. If he gets hands on someone, he can move them.

You plagiarized that directly from some of my previous posts. (Just forgot to add Georgia Southern)

Echols couldn’t have been that bad. He gave up no sacks going up against a very good pass rushing team. In fact. USCe got no sacks last night. Our biggest problem is run blocking. And when we run it is predictably to the left side. Why, because Westin Davis is terrible. When was the last time we had a +rushing play to the right side of the line?

Davis was getting walked back in pass protection like he had roller skates on every play. There is no way Curne could be any worse. Echols is an upgrade over Mubenga in my opinion. He made some good blocks in the run game.
