Who needs football when the REAL game is on

KEY POINTS

• The Trump administration began laying off federal workers on Friday, the 10th day of the U.S. government shutdown.

• "The RIFs have begun," Office of Management and Budget Director Russell Vought wrote on X, using the acronym for "Reductions in Force."

• Unions representing government employees vowed to fight the layoffs with lawsuits.

Trump is the only one who opposes democrats and is willing to actually play the game by their rules. The rest of the republican party is loaded top down with gigantic bleeding vaginas.

If you celebrate someone losing their livelihood, you’re a piece of shite straight up.

I work for the Gov. and this year for Fed employees has been hell on earth.

Should be illegal. There are already civil service protections. If you are stupid enough to pay into these BS schemes you should be fired.

Just keep the essentials going and in 3-4 months when folks can't see or feel a difference with the shutdown, make the case for cutting 30-40% of government.

No offense but you kind of brought it on yourself with way too many overpaid employees with crazy stupid benefits. It’s hard for someone with fewer benefits and less pay to feel sorry for you if you truly work for the federal government and I don’t mean the dmv or IRS

bullshite. Lots of people deserve to be fired from their jobs.and the only reason to take the mindless position that no one does is because you're fully aware that you're one of them.

So just like everyone else in the private sector have always had it. Why are you supposed to be guaranteed job security and great benefits?

In the end, I think this is what the Democrats are going to ask for to end the government shut down. They’ll count it as a win if they can get Trump to hire back all the government employees that were laid off.

I for one celebrate not wasting hard earned tax dollars on non-essential roles.

The shutdown affected non-essential roles, and if they are non-essential, why not make them go away forever? Private sector companies don’t keep a shitload of non-essential roles, because they would go bankrupt just like the federal government has.

Are they whining about how the past year has been "hell on earth" because they're entitled to their job?

Do you not remember Elon's "5 things you did this week emails?" I'm sure that was brutal for them.
