.... to doing absolutely nothing of significance. Who's idea was it to give this guy a $40 million dollar contract?

He's has consistently low production, yet facepainters glaze over him like he's actually important? Why? I mean we all know why

Meanwhile this board will shite on Olave for not being an elite WR1 but he makes half as much as Taysom and consistently contributes more per game.

This is the first yr he hasn't looked like taysom but he is coming off an acl at 35 years old

Every other yr he has done everything in his power to contribute and get wins.

Any team in the league would take a taysom hill.

He super overpaid but it's like 6 touches in one game.

He’s worth 10mil a year when healthy. Predictability kills offensives.

Having Taysom on the field helps eliminate that predictability.

He can be used as a fullback, tight end, running back, and wide receiver.

Doesn’t even include the QB element.

There a very short list of players in the NFL you could say that about.

I’m expecting to see Moore utilize him more. We are playing with so much pace and having Taysom in the game going no huddle gives him a lot of options and keeps the same 11 defensive players on field.

He’s largely done but who cares at this point. He’s a great saint and he will be off the books by the time we’re cleaning it up.

4 year - $40 million..

- 24 Rush YDS/game over his career

- 9 Rec. YDS/game over his career

He's a weapon in the redzone and he was a crutch for us because of all the bad QB history. But in reality he's incredibly over valued

What about the stat where if he gets at least 7 touches we’re 13-0 or whatever the stat was. Those stats just prove he was underutilized. There were games where he’d get 1 or 2 touches or no touches. That kills the per game average you’re talking.

Losing has made this board more retarded than I could’ve imagined

Bro, what is our record with Taysom playing the last two years vs when he doesn’t play?

Olave? That’s the guy you get behind? Ok, got you bro.

Yea I never buy that when they use that type of argument for certain players. It’s more of a result of the total offensive success. More offense = more possessions = more touches, points, wins etc.

It’s like saying “everytime kamara gets 18 touches we win the game”

Yea no shite. That also means we got a lot of first downs, playing from ahead and controlling possession. Not that we made a conscience effort to give someone a set number of touches. It’s just a bad argument

Prove it. No substance in any of these arguments. Just mad facepainters. Also its amazing listening to yall use Hill's injury as an excuse, but then criticize Olave for being soft and missing time when in reality he's been a really solid player.

Olave has sucked his entire tenure here. His best season, was probably his rookie season. And in that season, he cost us 4-5 wins with key drops and fumbles.

And he's declined since then. He had a quitting on route phase in year 2. He almost never gets YAC bc he's frail, and loves to just run out of bounds instead of trying to pick up an easy 5, 10,15 yards.

His hands and awareness have declined immensely this year as he is going full injury prevention mode and trying to secure a 2nd contract signing bonus.

Hill and Olave aren't even in the same stratosphere as players or humans. Hill is arguably a top 5 Saints player of all time and Olave is a top 5 Saints draft bust of all time.

Olave has got some cute little gay TD and first down dances, but he's a losing football player and it's not all that difficult to see. He's a WR3 or 4 at best on a good team.
