Their first tour since the death of drummer Neil Peart.

Don’t know if I want to see Rush without Peart, that’s like seeing Zeppelin without Bonham….

Would you mind naming the only two that you think are good?

This guy took off work to celebrate downliading the new Taylor Swift album.

That’s funny. I didn’t have MTV growing up and my exposure to Rush was limited. I feel like I should like them and know them more. Led is my favorite band of all time.

I much prefer Olivia Rodrigo to Taylor Swift.

Rush required one to search for their musical taste rather than be spoonfed.

When you look how many albums Rush sold and the number of acts that cite them as an influence it is impressive. And they did it without allowing a label to be their master.

Bought the RUSH Caress of Steel 8 track in the early 70's and can't remember why but do remember that we where LS and Black Sabbath heads at that time. I knew that they where different and it has been a long journey since then. My friends also were into it. I was also a huge YES fan so I dig this Prog along with Heavy metal. Yes it not for everyone but I will be in Fort Worth to see them. There music brings back great memories back in the 70's! Yes won't be the same without Neal but his music lives on and I will be there to celebrate it!!!

I’m a huge Rush fan, but Geddy can’t sing his famous falsetto anymore. The last few years, his vocals have been spotty at best.

If they could find a singer like Journey did to match Steve Perry and let Geddy just play music, they will be worth seeing. I’ll withhold final judgement until after they start the tour and videos come out to see how he does.

ETA: Apparently they replaced NP with a chick. Apparently toured with Jeff Beck a few years ago.

This who should be playing the halftime at the Super Bowl. I just wish Neal Peart was still with us. If he’s not the flat out best drummer in history, he’s damn near the top of the list.

He struggled with his voice during the Time Machine tour in ‘11, but he was much better during the 40th tour. 10 years later, I don’t know what to expect.

It's worse than that.

But I'd still see them just to say I did.

He's certainly got to be top 3 and was the engine and conductor behind their music IMO.
