I despise Barack Hussein Obama as much as anybody here, but I believe the story that he told Biden to call for an open convention. Biden had just been strong-armed by Obama to drop out of the race, so he (it was probably more Jill) returned the screw job by endorsing Kamala immediately. Hillary Clinton endorsed Kamala immediately, too, but it took 4 days before Barack Obama officially endorsed Kamala. I think he knew she would be a pathetic candidate.
Both Obama and Harris are terrible people in my book, but I honestly don't think they like each other very much. Their body language at Carter's funeral was very telling, imo.

If this was the opposite, Dems would definately say that they had a mandate (or a themdate, harhar). Remember that most of these politicians are attorneys with egregiously disingenuous motives. There is never a moment when they consider telling the truth as an option when the truth is not in their favor. They are formally trained in the art of gaslighting.
