Absolutely nothing moving near me so far today. Area 2 public. Been in a tree since 5:30. Acorns are dropping around me. Squirrels seem happy.

I got one so far. They aren’t moving much. I’ had my range finder as I was checking distances on trees…now I’ve lost it.

Figured I’d give it till 11 then go looking.

I may be able to try again next Sunday.

Hit the range and checked sights on the 6.5cm, 30-06, and muzzleloader. All good and ready. The old 30-06 needed adjustments, I wish that thing didn't get so hot quickly. Anyway...1 month left. No wait, youth hunt in 3 weeks! It's almost on.

Area 4
Wind gusting from the east
Loc on onna oak flat same spot I let a doe and two spotted fawns pass yesterday.
Spent all day working on tractor and chopping plots. If my employer tried to work me as hard as I do at the camp I would drag up.
Backstrap gravy simmering at the camp, it’s the best time of the year.
