Who's going to "America's Largest Block Party"? Eight days of wheeled insanity.

I might go, for a few hours to the coast, but it is not to see the cars.

I go to visit the tables and the machines.

Signed,

We are going on Saturday for the first time. Wasn't able to go in the past due to coaching.
Truck is all spit-shined and I am ready to go. It has been compared, to me, as Sturgis for Cars. I've been to Sturgis 3 times in the past so it sounds perfect. The wife is excited because of all of the antique shops withing walking distance from where we are staying so she can shop while I get my car fix in. Win Win

The 2nd Saturday is the most crowded day so get there early. Traffic gets pretty heavy, but it is a good time.

Actually next Saturday is the high point of Cruising. It gets started over this weekend and there will be some cars, but around next Wednesday you notice the people and cars coming in and it just get better through next Saturday when it peaks out. Really good time all up and down the coast, especially if the weather's nice which their calling for.

IDK man, when I went I thought that if I returned that I would leave mid day the final saturday. The final saturday night brings out a lot of people acting like a fool.

We usually head back home on Friday. By then, we have seen, done and heard just about everything. And yes, the weather should be great.

Traffic is bad. If you're not a car person, you'll be miserable.

We're going for the first time and taking the Vette. Hotels and RV parks have been booked for months leading up to this event. Found a place on VRBO for next weekend. Weather looks a bit dicey to start the week, but looks fairly nice for the following weekend.

The year I was there some dude died because somebody was driving crazy and he got thrown from the car.

There’s also younger guys that show up in lifted trucks revving up the exhaust all up and down the street at night. The final Saturday night the traffic becomes unbelievable.
