Being stubborn mules who believe they can brute force their way around a deficient approach / strategy.

This is what drove me nuts about Les. It wasn’t specifically that we couldn’t pass — it was that the staff never made any top level adjustments & seemed to be of the school of thought “if we just try what we’ve been doing — but harder — it will get better”.

No.

Something is not hitting with your scheme / personnel / coaching and development esp regarding OL. Adjust what you are doing. Give MVB a drive. Install a non-RPO handoff to RB. Something.

Don’t just keep ramming your head into a brick wall. It’s the same exact shite, the variables (run/pass) are just different.

But the problem is familiar.

This is why I don’t want to hire old arse coaches. Most of them are too dang stubborn and hardheaded to change or admit their faults so the program is just going to burn down because he can’t admit he’s wrong.

I think you are correct.

Ok, maybe we can look at film and say "if we didnt miss this block, if the RB made the right cut, if the QB made the right read, if, if, if" But as you said, after 2 years and 17 games of this, we simply cant run it. New line, new RB, new running game coordinator....all of it, at some point you have to make the assessment that we are not capable of doing it. If you have to have everyone grade out at 100 each play to have success, it is not a practical scheme.

We should just luck up every now and then. The only successful plays rushing or throwing down field for that matter occur when the defense shits the bed.

And it looks like we’re heading to the bottom half of the SEC rankings. But at least we’re getting aligned with that. And that’s what matters, right…the alignment?

If Nuss plays in the South Carolina game and we score 20 points then I guess the only difference between Miles and Kelly is about 5.7 million dollars a year.

When Brian Kelly gets out the shower, the first thing he does is dry his a-hole. Then he rubs a-hole all over himself because he's an a-hole.

Nick Saban may have something to say about that. Would love to see him at LSU.
