I've been holding off for as long as possible but I need new tires for my truck. Where's the best place to get tires on the northshore? Looking for Nitto RidgeGrapplers 35x12.50 R22 LT

Just go by Matt Bowers Chevrolet in Slidell and find a vehicle for sale with the tires you want in it.

Come back at 3:00 am and they’re yours!

That's what I've got on the truck now and they've lasted a good while and they're quiet. I'm open to other suggestions but I've just had a good experience with those so far.

I'm going to call them now

Just got a quote from Phil, new Ridge Grapplers are $2,521 and Recon Grapplers are $2390.

Anyone have experience with the Recons? It seems like a better tire?

Superior Tire is $2,955 for the Recons - the Recons look about the same but have actually come with a warranty and are slightly cheaper than the Ridge Grapplers

Autoville is about the same price as Phil, about $3 cheaper per tire but I need to buy a $25/tire road hazard for the lifetime rotation/balancing that Phil offered with his tires.

I have recon's now and they are crap. This is the second set of Nitto's i have owned and the belts have shifted, and they will not warranty them. I will never own Nitto again, i have had bad luck twice and they were rotated the way they were supposed to be.

Those prices you were quoted are insane.
