Fighting through this injury isn't not helping Nuss get better quicker and hurting his first round draft stock, not helping the team, our season, nothing is being gained by having a starting QB at 70%

Nuss is the dude when he is healthy. We were all so dang excited...

but he isn't healthy...it's time to have that truth talk and make the right decision

So make the call coach, stop playing on the fence...

Bench/heal Nuss, get Van in there to start against SC

He was 100% vs Bama, A&M, and Fla last year. Even at 100% he is nothing special but it is a good idea to use the injury as an excuse to sit him down.

I am hedging that with as awful as this O Line is MVB gives you the mobility you need when the lineman wiffs his block and the sack is inevitable.

Still avg over 300/game & had DJ Chester starting on OL.

He’s avg 231/game this year

I'd start Van Buren. But, problem is, we don't have an OC who could pivot to using his strengths and come up with a coherent game plan.

I will be the first to admit that I don't know a whole lot about coaching football. That said, even to me Nuss is having a recurring problem. He either is injured or he panics and makes really bad passes. It is not improving either. I don't see any other way of winning

A junior high staff can out coach you when you keep doing the same thing over and over and expect a different result.

Stats don't mean anything, you need to move the offense and score when it counts.

So you picked the 3 worst games of the season last year after we lost a starting OL. He was good last year

2nd most passing yds ever for an LSU QB last year, but he actually sucks bc we lost 4 games

Oh now we’re complaining about throwing for 337 & 3 TDs in an OT win vs a top 10 team? Yeah he made some mistakes, but he also marched down the field in under 3 mins to tie the game including converting two 4th downs.

You’ve come to the right place. This board is full of experts that never attend practices, team meetings or watch players study film, yet they know who should sit, and who should start, along with what plays to call, scheme to use and on and on. Tiger Rant has more Hall of Fame Coaches that the actual Hall of Fame.

Fix the O Line issues then let’s see what happens.

The playbook is severely compromised with the current line issues.

They’re also medical doctors and have reviewed Nuss’ condition to know what decision is medically proper.

DIdn't Kelly say a couple of weeks ago that Nuss wouldn't be right again physically until after the bye week because the bye week would be a time for him to rest and heal? Have we forgotten about that?

He started off the game 1-9. He had a 33% Completion with 6 mins left inthe 4th and he ended the game at 50%

But go ahead and cherry pick those stats

Seems like that’s what you’re doing to try & criticize a qb who threw for 337 & 3 TDs in an OT win over a top 10 team

Imagine having a 43% completion, with 3 TDs and 2 INTs with a QBR of 75 and thinking thats good.

Our fan base is full of dumbasses.

HOw can an coach know that far out how a players is going to return to health

they won't even tell us exactly what is wrong with him

He won't talk either

I just know how the ball looked last year and the year before and now it looks like an old man heaving as far as he can off back foot

Just freaking sit down!

we have enough problems

Some fans will defend the most average players to the death. No matter how dumb they sound
