i know what ya mean. but it may be from us following recruting so closely this year. in the past i for one only really knew of the top guys we were after. not everyone we sent letters to. so this may have happened every year as far as i am concerned

LSU has probably the best recruiting class in terms of fit to a program!!! I am dissapointed in JJ to UT, but otherwise freaking extatic!!!
I wouldn't trade LSU's class for any other class in the country!
Signed the best GROUP of d-line, the #1 safety, #1 WR, and #1 Dual threat QB (think Dennis Dixon and Vince Young)!!! LSU also signed the best RB in LA (beast) and 4 solid offensive linemen! If your not happy with this class, you need to come back to earth. Not everyone in LA is going to be offered (sentimore, Lacy and Benton in the end), and the only REAL losses were Jackson and Bell.

Yeah, since his dad will be 4 hours away instead of 12. Plus his dad is pretty close with Orgeron, I'd imagine Janzen is also.

Our recruiting class is fine. JJ screwed us and was classless and we screwed Benton. It's not popular I know but that's the way I see it.

Ok, i'm a dumb f#@$ and you all are genius.
I'm happy about our class. I feel it's a great class, IF, they all get eligible.
We really didn't want jackson, benton, bell, and sentimore. They are all classless and bad character kids. However, i'm the idiot for not saying this.
At the end of the day, blame a kid all you want. It's our coaches job to sell the program to where there really isn't another choice.
When you start thinking it's ok to lose 4 kids in the top 250 in the country out of your state, your setting your self up for disappointment.
Louisiana isn't texas and florida guys. We don't have 50 players that are elite level players.
We have 10-15 elite players on a regular basis.
I'm happy about our class. I feel it's a great class, IF, they all get eligible.

When they got on top, they recruited nationally and forgeting about the florida kids. That allowed miami, and now florida to start winning the recruiting battles in florida. Therefore, Miami, under davis, and now florida, under zook and myer, have become the major player.
