Baidu, Google, Uber, Tesla or Lyft?

Talking driverless cars.
All of these companies have an interest in driverless transportation with some being more pure plays than others. I’ve only just now started looking into Baidu which I think is the purest play of the 5.
I own Uber and have done very well in a short amount of time. I want to buy another or more Uber.
If you had to pick one, which would it be?

if tesla ever gets to the point where cars can go driverless and do rides and deliveries that will be a total gamechanger.

Lyft is the Popeyes of the rideshare world

Yeah Tesla is an interesting one.
My understanding is that their driverless will also utilize their own software rather than partnering with Uber or Lyft. That could really hurt uber and Lyft when it comes to pricing because Tesla could undercut to get market share.
It’s less of the pure play though as it has the obvious automobile business.
I would have to want to own it for the other aspects of the business similar to Google (Waymo)

it definitely will. it will basically make rideshare and cabs obsolete. the rides will be cheaper because a human doesnt have to make money to do the driving. It will really disrupt that world.

I still believe that riders want cheap and quickness when it comes to rideshare so when it comes to who they engage with, it’ll come down to one or both of those options
Some smaller markets won’t be big enough for multiple rideshare but other larger markets will be okay. Tesla is definitely going to shake it up nonetheless.
I’ve gotten more intrigued with Baidu lately. They’ve got a lot of the Asian and European market but for some reason, I don’t think they’re allowed in the US…. Yet.
They too could be a game changer here

Yeah, I don’t have a lot of interest in Lyft other than the news that if aligned with Waymo in some large markets.
