So stupid. So pointless. The object is to win. All that for nothing

Operator should’ve ran the clock down to zero based on principle

Why didn’t they at least review if the clock ran out?

As a person who isn’t a fan of either of those teams, that was an enjoyable game to watch.

It absolutely should have ended in a tie. Both offenses were cooking and the defenses couldn’t get a stop.

40-40 is too many points to end in a tie. Thanks LaFluer!

NFL tinkers with things that don’t need to be changed. But they can’t fix ending games in a tie?

Absolute vaginal move by Green Bay to kick knowing there’s no second OT. Play. To. Win. The. Game.

Neither defense deserves to win. A tie was a perfect result for the game.

Ties are so rare that they are like high comedy when they happen like they did tonight.

Why would they? A lot of football fans do watch soccer. Ties are nothing new to them

I’ve said it before and many times on this board. You have to force the 2nd team to play for the win. So 1st team gets a fg, 2nd team can not kick a fg and tie the score. Because the point of OT is to break the tie. Why play 10 minutes extra to end up the same as the end of the 4th qtr?

I’ll add. This system is still worlds better than the gay shite they did with the college OT system.

I’d rather a million ties than that garbage.

Don’t forget if the first team scores a td they must go for 1. Then if the second team scores a td they must go for two.

College OT is the perfect format to have that rule yet they don’t
