Was Nuss dealing with the “chest injury” in the Clemson game? Something is off here

He didn’t play great in that game but he looked his best so far this season. His deep passes had zip on them and he looked more accurate in that game than the other games so far.

But now he looks terrible. Arm looks weak, Passes are sailing, and the interceptions he is throwing are mind-numbingly bad.

So, if he was dealing with chest injury you would assume it was at its worst/ most impactful to him a few weeks ago yet he played at his best. Now that the “chest injury” is supposedly healed, he looks the worst he ever has?

How the frick does that makes sense? What is really going on here?

Who knows what the hell is going on right now. The shite that BK is spewing right now and what we are seeing on the field from Nuss Is not adding up. Somebody is lying their arses off. This whole situation has been really strange so far.

I don’t know.

There was never a mention of any injury until McElroy said something early in the broadcast of the Florida game.

Them BK said he was working through it but couldn’t rest against SLU

Then BK said he was healthy and nothing was currently wrong going into Ole Miss

Then Nuss has a terrible game and can’t even make some basic throws

Putting it all together I suspect he has a minor injury but the biggest issues are between his ears.

The whole thing makes no sense. Nuss not commenting at all is suspect as hell

He was coming off a knee injury that caused him to miss the last week of practice.

It’s obvious he’s been directed by Kelly not to comment on his health in any way. Definitely more to the story than meets the eye, or ear!

Agree. Since when have our WR’s had to stand and wait on a ball on a deep go route. Accuracy was off bad. There was some lame duck floater balls thrown and that’s not been something I’m accustomed to seeing. Around the middle of the 3rd quarter and into the 4th quarter his velocity picked up which makes me think he possibly could have taken an injection at halftime. Reminds me of a pitcher having shoulder problems that has lost 10 mph off their fastball and command of the strike zone. One thing I believe we all can agree on is something probably medically is going on in.

How did LSU go from an explosive offense last year to nothing this year? That’s what’s so frustrating.

Because BK finally had a good defense, so he thought, we didn't really need a good offense, just enough to win games.

That's basically what he said after the Florida game.

If you watch his mechanics, he's got something wrong with his hip or lower abdomen. Playing isn't going to help him or the team. He needs to sit a while for it to heal.
