Hand the ball off 50 times and get 3-4 yards each time. Keep the ball away from Ole Miss offense and LSU great defense is fresh all game. Shout out to PJ Woodland & DJ Pickett man they are really good young players. Once Echols came in the running game started going. When you have a 5 star Running back with a 3 man front you give it to him 25 times. I do think Nuss is checking to a pass when runs are called that’s on coaching giving him the ability to check out of the calls.

You don’t understand that rushing 3 doesn’t mean they dont send more if we hand it off.

Best defense against Kiffin is to keep the ball away from their O

It doesn’t matter if they send more they are 5 yards behind the line. Not running but twice on first down in the game is egregious

Part of it is our run plays develop so slow that you could be playing 5 yards off and still get back to the LOS

When run looks like a draw it’s developing so slow nobody falling for the read option just had it off quickly

Fair enough but Les Miles would have had us rush for 250 and they would have come out of that defense. Not advocating for Les or that style of Offense, just saying a good run heavy offense would win against that front.

Having them rush 3 and getting a sack and many hurries is unacceptable.

The announcers recognized this. Hell, everyone did. Our head coach is a fool who is unworthy of being here.

There are more than a few posters here who blame the defense for the first half. LSU's longest drive in the first half was five plays? Maybe six. Against a tempo offense. They were fricked over.

Yea Les would have had us run for 250 and he would have also failed with our inability to throw when we needed to .Both BK and Les have and had serious faults as a HC.

The majority of it was the offense but the defense wasn’t without fault. They allowed an 18 play drive immediately following the offense’s TD drive, and then gave them 50 yards in penalties on their first TD drive.

And why didn’t Kaleb Jackson get a single carry? Johnson isn’t it. Too much dancing. That shite works in high school. Not in the SEC.

LSU needed to lean on their front and run the ball 40+ times, and they refused. OM was never asked to prove they could consistently stop the run yesterday. LSU played right into their hands. Fire Sloan!

No doubt they weren't perfect, but allowing 24 points to UM is not a bad job. They also forced several three and outs and two turnovers. They clearly did enough to allow a decent team to win the game.
