BK is what he is. He has a clear long history of doing exactly this....it is always ALMOST

I tried my best to lower the completely ignorant outrageous expectations placed on LSU. I was absolutely attacked by every purple glasses, coolaide drinking, football ignorant poster on here.

Nuss.....if he transfered to any top 25 team today, he wouldn't be the starter. He's so limited. Great young man and pray my son can be as high of character as he is.

Receivers really aren't getting separation like expected, and when they do, he misses on accuracy. On the Nuss interception near their ~15 of line, we had the deeper post WIDE open...Nuss threw shorter route...for no good reason

The defense is reasonably solid, but no where near what attention they were being given. It wont be near the top in the SEC by year's end, IMO. Ole Miss just manhandled them. Pushed em around and receivers were getting wide open...often. They were on the field alot, but that wont change going forward, so its part of grading them as solid, but not top tier.

BK is gonna do what he wants, because hes not self aware enough to know it wont work. He's a moron. Right before half, did you catch him on the sideline asking the assistant (dont remember which one), why were were calling a timeout (we had 2 left) ? He didn't understand the if we held them, and they kicked a fg, that we would want time on the clock. He was absolutely clueless!

This is what I thought after LA Tech exposed us, especially our OC problem.

quote:

LSU is mediocre again. Defense at times steps up and is a smidge better than last year, because if the secondary mostly.
Offense is stale. Non threatening at times. Can't run and there simply is no Nuss improvement that is noticeable enough to change games.
As a team, we couldn't put away the weakest opponent on our schedule.
In comparison, that team yall love, Alabama, with a new qb, hung 60 on their weakest opponent. That's what good teams do.

Brian Kelly is our coach. He's already criticizing the team. Next week he'll be even more red faced, and scream a bit more loudly.

Years leading up to him coming...LSU had 3 major bowl wins, ND had 0......since ND has 3 major bowl wins, LSU has 0. It's not a coincidence, its what he does. Hayden saved his job because of his freak athleticism and running. BK didn't design that..hes not capable.

I love the Tigers and will go regardless and cheer for the best. The team isn't good enough to run the slate, period. Championship? No

I am relaxed. I don't like it, but my expectations are lowered. I generally always go into games believing LSU can and will win.

I can just tune in now, and the games are what they are. Not loosing sleep over it.

Just a rundown of BK, Nuss, and the D

And it was clearly evident by half time against Tech, weeks ago.

I am relaxed, I understand this is entertainment and not a life or death matter.

The most annoying thing is all the people going on about how they told us and crowing happily about being right about the team underperforming. It's juvenile and seems like some sort of way to compensate for a lack of contentment in real life. But you do you, man.

I will. But the opposite is true. The team is performing as taught...under or over? You decide.

Problem is the teachers.
Im not happy about it, sorry you are. Life is great for me, thanks for the astoundingly ignorant non sequitur comparison

Nooooo your wrong

You didnt see that long run at the end of the Florida game with under a minute to go. "Thats all you need to see, just 1" to know we can run it.

A non sequitur requires that you erroneously conclude from facts given. I did not; I simply postulated a possibility of why someone would be happy to be proven right by a team they support losing.

Talk about an ignorant non sequitur.

Acceptance that Kelly’s time is over at LSU. He won’t be able to politician his way out of these problems

Right, which I did not do. Wondering what the source of something may be is not a conclusion. Kid? Another non sequitur.

Eh, it’s a reaction to being castigated on this board for the past couple of weeks when we said things like “the defense, while very good, is going to buckle under the pressure when they have to spend all game on the field because of a lackluster offense”. There were a crap ton of posts about how BK knows what he’s doing, and he’s playing to the team’s strength, and playing to win, etc,

You compared my personal place in life, as some sort of reasoning for LSU sucking balls (which u obviously can relate to)
Yes, a statement like that is an absolute non sequitur to me stating obvious program situation.

BTW....I told you so! Mediocre team at best

You sound like me. This is the first time in decades that I don't understand what the coaches could do to change the situation

I thought I thinly veiled that using non-specific language.

I may still be feeling a bit salty from last night.
