Just watched the play that Nuss threw the int. He had a hole straight up the field that I could've drove my semi thru in first gear and gained 10 yards. Remember that was a first down play. He is leaving so many yards ungained due to his lack of running upfield.

He's Scared To Run. There Lineman Ran Him Down From Behind.
Should Have Played Van Burne.

Nuss may or may not be injured. Either way, he plays like he’s injured.

We been saying this since last season . What makes you think anythings just going to flip in his head? We one dimensional so teams dont even have to play the run so receivers a barely open . Add to that no time to look downfield because the oline is bad.

At this point you need to accept that's never going to happen.

This is what I have always wondered, not just with Nuss, but with any QB who doesn’t run at least a little. You would be better off going under center or pistol where at least they don’t know which direction a run is coming.

Two problems with that : 1) he isn’t very fast or shifty and at his speed a 5-10 yard opening closes quick ! 2) he may be hurt more than anyone is letting on and doesn’t want to risk a big hit in the open field.

scared to run. scared to pass. scared to take a hit. scared to be on the field.
