Georgia lost wire to wire at home vs a flawed bama team

Penn state also lost at home.

Reality is we lost on the road by 5 to a top 13 team in the country.

Having said that, serious conversations need to happen about nuss. He is flat out hurting the team if he’s playing hurt. Theirs no threat of the deep ball with him and he still makes a stupid mistake per game . I truly think a fully healthy van buren with his arm and mobility gives us a better chance to win then a clearly less than 100 percent nuss

That flawed Bama team is gonna do dirty things to this LSU squad. We don’t have anyone coaching OL.

I’m on board with letting go of Brad Davis. Idc he’s a good recruiter talent isn’t developing

Normally I’d agree with you, but Kelly isn’t capable of coaching in this era. The game has passed him by quickly. This era is a beast as far as the transfer portal. He can’t adapt.

I honestly don't think he's hurt.

My unpopular opinion is that he plays scared. He's just not a very tough football player and he's scared of getting hit/hurt. I can't necessarily blame him...I wouldn't want to take a big hit either. But, he's an SEC QB.

He played more confidently behind NFL O-linemen who had excellent pass protection.

But he refuses to take running opportunities. 5-6 blockers against 3 pass rushers means Nuss had lanes to run. Stockton, Chambliss, Simpson, Mateer...and every other SEC QB would take those opportunities. Nuss will never do that...and defenses will keep playing accordingly.

The fact that we couldn't adjust our offense to what they were giving us is all on coaching.

Kelly isn’t benching Nuss. You might as well give up on this idea now.

He is a relationship-based recruiter, not a coach. These types are irrelevant now with NIL.

The only father figure that matters is Benjamin Franklin.

Unfortunately, OM showed everyone else that you can drop 8 and Sloan and Nuss won’t adjust.

The fact of the matter here is the SEC is very balanced where there’s about 6 or 7 teams who can beat any of the others.

I’d put the top 6 in no order:
LSU, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Georgia, Bama, A&M.

State, Texas and Oklahoma are on the bubble too. Those 3 could probably beat any of the 6 above also. Just haven’t seen enough from Texas yet. I’d lean more on OU and State being in the upper tier first.

Hey everyone begged and begged for competitive balance after being owned by Saban for years. Here we are. There will absolutely not be an undefeated SEC team come December.

Are you watching this team? LSU is in trouble for rest of year with schedule.

Disagree. He’s going to have to make some drastic changes and fast. He knows his head is about to be on a pike

I agree but this team has not looked good at all while going 4-0. If Kelly and Co doesn't fix Nuss and the offense, this season might be moot. If they don't replace Nuss, they need to be more of a running team. Make Durham/Berry/Jackson the offense and have Nuss/Van Buren play complimentary football to them. Can't have Nuss lose games for them...

If our offense had any sort of pulse last night our defense would have carried us to victory

It was very reminiscent of the saints during the Dennis Allen era - great defense that would just completely gas out during the 2nd quarter because they knew the offense couldn’t keep them off the field no matter how many stops they got

Alabama will steam roll LSU.....stop fooling yourself. For that matter, GA would steam roll LSU
These are not comparable programs.

What an absolutely retarded thing to say

It’s like you just chose a random cliche and went with it just to trash Kelly

Clown take. Most of our best players are from the portal

Yes. Our offense is such a liability that every game will be difficult and Bama will kill us once again as usual as always like almost every fricking year all the time it never fails

The reality is that while yes we lost to a ranked team on the road, the expectation is that in year 4 LSU should be winning these games.

Outside of a lucky TD and a fortunate punch out, this game was very one sided.
