Has there been any word on how severe Weston Davis’ injury is?

Also what did he injure in warmups?

Not that I've heard but Curne was tremendously better

Curne needs to play moving forward as well...I don't care that he is a freshmen either...

Was wondering why Chester didn't go back in the game in 2nd half after being out in 1st half for targeting last weekend?

Haven’t heard anything but being injured in warmups sounds like a non contact injury. And those are usually not good.

Yes he was good for being told you were starting 22 minutes before kickoff. Curne needs to be doing some situps though because man does that kid have a belly on him! He moves well with it though. I will be surprised if Davis gets his spot back now.

Chester didn’t go in because Curne was holding his own.

Yeah but I get it but Chester plays multiple spots on oline. I guess he wasnt good enough

I was thinking along those same lines.
One of the big concerns about him was that he would be called for some false start penalties. I didn't recall any that he had and that is impressive for a true freshman playing his first road game in the SEC.
Of course, by no means should we give up on Davis. It would have been interesting to see how he would fare vs. the Rebels.

Echols seems to have jumped Chester at backup G so now it looks like he’s just backup center and LT if Curne is starting at RT now.
