Pre season Heisman contending QB who has underperformed, great D, solid at the skill positions, and a game in hand to lose and still make the playoffs.

The OL cannot block 3 with 5. We have Bama, A&M, and OU looming. You feel good about this OL in those matchups?

You’re right, but from here it is hard to see a good outcome this season (or for the foreseeable future thereafter for that matter).

Anyone watching yesterday knows this team has 2 or 3 more losses in them given our schedule. It’s how we lost yesterday that makes it worse. We looked unprepared and outmatched.

I'm not very optimistic after yesterday. I'll still support them. I've seen this bad offense/great defense song and dance too many times. Unless some changes tomorrow then fans are just insane thinking our offense will actually be able to play complimentary football. We definitely aren't professional coaches and we can see that.

Do you think LSU is suddenly going to learn offense? We’re going to continue seeing the same dog shite offense every week because the head coach is too fricking conceited to admit he was wrong about his offensive coaching hires and his starting qb decision.
We’re not going to sniff the playoffs this year or any year under Brian Kelly.

It’s like some of you don’t even actually watch the games.
Sure, we are still alive for a spot in the SECCG and playoff.
But if you watch the games and think we will get to either of those you are delusional.
The offense has been bad since day one but we kept making excuses because we played a couple of good defenses and we were winning.
Well guess what, Ole Miss is not a good defense and we couldn’t do a thing on offense.
It’s no longer just 1 game or a “trend”. It’s what our offense is. Just like the defense in 2023.

We have one thing working against us and that’s Brian Kelly. That alone will make sure this team won’t make the playoffs.
