You will get a lot more responses on the outdoor board.

That's the going rate but I'm not paying $15k for 133k miles on a jeep.

I’d shop around
That seems like a lot of money for a vehicle with 133k miles. I don’t care if it has 2” lift with 35-37” tires.

Save your future self some hear ache and spend the $15k on a 4 Runner.

4runner fan here but a similar mileage trail package 4runner is a fair bit more than that jeep. Then again resale would always be higher so that's a wash in the end.

Less money and more reliable. Get a lexus gx460. You can build them up and they are solid off road and and comfortable. Also as long as you do the timing every 150k miles they will last forever.
Really the gx470 is better. But older. You can find nice $10k 460s. Three rows and comfort. Can't take the doors off but you can add tents and awnings and off road everything.

The 3.6L pentastar has problems with the rocker arms which leads to cam shaft problems which leads to metal in the engine. If you here a tapping when the engine is running then for sure don't buy it. The rocker arms will eventually fail and if you can get them fixed before it ruins the cam shift then it should be fine.

It has has a problem with its plastic oil cooler. Leaks and I haven't had much luck with it's replacement.
