Had a scare a couple of weeks ago. After getting gas, my ol’ Tundra (240,000 miles) wouldnt start. It’d turn over then quickly die almost acting like the engine was flooded. Eventually started and ran like it was brand new. Wrote it off as just a glitch.
Well got gas yesterday morning and did the same thing. Thought it may be time to go see my guy in Tomball I’ve been walking the lot with the last couple of years for that 3/4 tone.
After some googling, ended up thinking it may be the canister purge valve. Picked one up at AutoZone and replaced it myself. Boom! That was it. Tundra lives to fight another day!
Thought I’d share what a little googling and YouTube can do. I’ll continue to update my Tundra journey as needed.

Are you typing from the office like a real man and not one of those weak soy boys who work from home?

Congratulations, you did it.

I’d never let my clients see me in that old of a vehicle. Thinking about trading my ‘22 in for that reason

That guy in Tomball hates you!

Probably screws up everyone's coffee orders too, they keep him around out of pity.

Grandfather’s Sales staff would arrive to work Monday morning and park their BMW’s, Mercedes and Porsches, get into their Chevys and head out to work.
I asked why. The philosophy being that if you are driving a car better than your client, you make too much money and are not hungry enough for his business.
We built foundries around the world. Not condos or houses.

You can’t kill a Tundra. I got rid of mine at 206,000 miles a few years back and I regret it every day.

Check the basics first. Battery terminals and ground.
