No, you will be fine at that row.

I just sat in row 5 and was absolutely devasted at the view. They have a shade canopy over the bench and when sitting down, you can't see the field at all. Just the endzones. You need to be above about 10 to see over. I would say about row 20 is the sweet spot if you want to see the game up close but still have a view of the field.

Pays to be poor because that's definitely not a problem I've ever had

You’re fine at that height. I’d be comfortable recommending anything at or above 10. A couple rows below 10 could be fine, but that’d be getting in gray area. Visitor some friends in row 5 last week and it’s no bueno. Also alot of randos/opposing team fans/non-season ticket holders in those obstructed view rows. The 20s are the sweet spot - I’m in 27

My seats are in Row 10. I can see just fine

Tiger Stadium's interior desperately needs renovation. The first row of seats around the stadium should be lifted 5-6 feet. This would require the next 20 rows to have a height and angle adjustment, and would most likely result in a loss of total seats.
There are a lot of potential solutions, but any option is better than the current layout. The view from the bottom 5 rows is probably the worst view compared to the same rows in all other SEC stadiums.

I sat on 2nd row and had to stand up to see the top of the players helmets.
