You need to be careful using magic eraser on enamel. Magic eraser is basically a very very fine grit sandpaper and it will scratch surfaces.

Regular cleanser or soft cleanser? I still do more stove top cooking because the oven makes for difficult cleanup, even though the oven can give better results.

I’d have to look at the container, but works better than anything else I’ve used and it hasn’t harmed my enamel over the past couple of years.

ETA: just checked and it’s the regular cleanser

Because of its abrasive nature, there are a few important safety tips to remember:

Do not use on skin: Using the eraser on your body can cause skin irritation, burns, and abrasions.

Test on surfaces: The abrasive quality can be too harsh for sensitive surfaces. It is best to test the eraser on a small, inconspicuous area first, especially on finished wood, high-gloss paint, or nonstick coatings.

Soak in baking soda and hot water, wipe clean.

Bar keepers friend, magic eraser, and a lot of other cleaners are abrassive.

Years ago I made the mistake of using a magic eraser to get a bunch of sharpie off my arm. It tore me up.

I read online that the enamel that le creuset uses is hard enough that the abrasiveness of barkeepers friend will not harm it. I can attest that I’ve used it for 2+ years on mine and it hasn’t had any negative effects.

ETA: apparently baking soda is more abrasive than the gypsum that is in barkeepers friend
