Saints need to trade the #1 pick this year- there’s no generational QB in this draft

Accumulate picks and players because this roster is straight trash.

Need to get more talent at every position. Any QB would be set up for failure with this trash roster.

Don't trade it. Just take who you think is the best. Keep swinging till you land it

Taysom and Kamara would fetch late round picks but provide a lot of salary cap relief. I'd hate to see them in another uniform but we aren't going anywhere. At this point, freeing up cap space and drafting more young talent should be the priority.

None of it’s gonna matter without a GM who is serious about evaluating players

I agree. The problem is that Loomis doesn’t believe in trading back. Has he ever traded down to collect picks? No he is busy trading picks to draft project players or wide receivers who don’t even see the field. I know in a rebuild that we will lose a lot but what sucks is that I have no faith in Loomis accomplishing the rebuild. Hell, he will probably trade the 2027 first round pick to move into the bottom of the first round for the next Penning or Davenport.

Unfortunately that means 1-1 won't have a lot of trade value.

At least I'm not saying no one is worth 1-1, so we'll trade it ... as if we're smarter than other nfl organizations

We’ll see. Just because the top 2 names aren’t showing much so far doesn’t mean someone else doesn’t show they’ve got it over the course of the season. Jayden Daniels anyone?
