Does something need to be done about these kickers making FGs from their own side of the field? Can we make the goal posts smaller or reduce FGs to 2 points or something? Some of these offenses are almost guaranteed points every drive because of their kickers

Kickers today have also been missing a ton of easy ones.
Nothing needs to be done. Kickers who can make 60+ yards are just that good. Makes zero sense to adjust an entire aspect of the game just because a couple kickers are really good at what they do.

Definitely not this. Kickers arent fun to watch. You don't want to encourage teams to kick more of them

This makes no sense. Teams decide to kick based on running out of downs or time. No team is kicking them on 1/2/3 down and would not if it was 4 points.
About all league could do is make a special FG ball heavier to reduce them. But if they were 4 that would not increase tries.

people would much rather watch long FGs than punts. Also, a 60 yard FG miss can either be returned or give the other team the ball at midfield.

It’s still relatively warm. Kicking usually gets worse as the weather goes to shite.
