I’m not seeing the usual lists of bright spot or armchair analysis
Here is a jumble of what I got from the game.

Nuss- looked sharp once he started slinging and running it, seemed he got in a rhythm and looked great
Ju’Juan johnson- looks like our best RB despite not having the top end speed. He makes guys miss, is night on his feet, drives after contact and seems to have the awareness of cutback vs power through in the scrum.
Berry- needs more touches at RB he can do it all, and seems to be fighting for a spot. I love seeing the fire.
Keys- played like a dog last night…. Again…
MVB- looks like he is a good backup who can make offensive line look better by making guys miss
Shanklin-looked great last night great combo of speed and strength at DE bright future!! Anxious to see elevated playing time
Jackson- the other DE looked great a little light but seemed to have some bend and speed. This game is exactly what our 3rd/4th string needed to see.
Parker- deserves more playing time and should be a starter rn at lsu. One of the gripes I have about nil. He is going to be a star
Watkins- dude is electric, need more touches.

What I saw as bad
Pyburn- did not seem to hold the edge well at times, over pursued a few times and bad angle/la k of hustle a few times
Durham- I’m almost positive he is hurt
Entire o line- wtf idk what the answer is, I felt like entire offensive line did not deserve to come out of the game they need reps they need the killer instinct. But that’s why I’m not the head coach, I’d probably be down to a single healthy lineman

I ment in the sense he has a lingering injury that’s undisclosed and then got hurt again

What tipped you off? BK saying he had an ankle injury and will get an MRI?

I ment I suspect he has been hurt all year, and is now more seriously hurt.

He was recruited as a cornerback. I would be surprised if he did not have excellent top end speed.

I felt like he was not as twitchy at WR or DB while we tried to find him a home. He is to talented to not have on the field but I feel
Like elite speed is Durham, Watkins, berry… but it could be a thing of running style impression, Daniels is lightning fast and it looks like he is jogging everywhere.. but things I have noticed not being correct is probably more likely

That line is awful. No two ways about it. What has Kelly been doing? Come SEC schedule LSU will have some real problems scoring.

We are fricked without Green and haven’t heard a word about him which is never a good thing. I had high hopes for Nic Anderson until last night and he really made me look like an arse. Take away all the drops and Nuss had only 1 incompletion.

He participated in pre-game warmups while wearing a knee brace.

There was no reason at all to rush him back for this game.

Pyburn is probably one of the best DL we have. I did not see what you were talking about. I will say his forte is busting up the zone read more than pass rushing but in general he has been very good in assignment football. His assignment may or may not have been the edge on plays you referred to.

He was a great runner in high school out of the QB spot, and I could see a wrinkle put into the game plan to have him throw from his RB position. IMO, you had to sign the all time LA leader in offense. He may be a serviceable DB, but will he always be more of a threat with the ball in his hands…he seems to know to block from his RB spot as well.

Meh. Nic Anderson is expendable.

Kyle Parker looks good every time he’s on the field and Watkins looked like he ready to contribute as well.

On offense WR is the least of the issues.

So the OL sucks ,you mean the one that gave up 0 sacks. Just like people who say LSU is not o good team because of their offense Offense but forget about the Defense and special teams. The Tigers are a very good team that needs to improve run blocking . All other aspects of the team are coming along.

The coaches have more than enough data points to understand the strengths, which are many, and weaknesses of this team. Time to lean into an identity that works and game plan accordingly. A rhythm passing game with opportunistic runs. LFG

I hope moving him all around does not hurt his ability to get drafted in the league. I might be way off but my head goes to like a more talented version of Russel Shepard.

I was hard on you last night, bro. My apologies, but he really played like shite. If I’m Kelly, he doesn’t see much time next game. Can’t have it.
