The ONLY reason they're even discussing this is because they are for the first time being subjected to their own rules and facing consequences. Those consequences need to be continued until the lesson sticks.

To answer that question…cancel culture from the left was top down. Started with NGOs and political organizations, led to politicians and agencies putting pressure on social media platforms (major censorship) and corporations especially in terms of the vaxx mandate.
What they are describing now as cancel culture but it’s bottom up. It’s just people expressing their opinions through the 1st amendment and freedom of association.
There is a wrong way to do it and a right way. Using the government to cancel people is the wrong way.
