Movie just wasn’t very good. Don’t think a single character in the movie had a personality or maturity level older than a 13 year old.

Meh I thought it was the best Superman movie I’ve ever seen. I’m not old so I have no attachment to the Reeves movies, always found them quite dull. Really I never cared for Superman all that much in general because walking cheat codes are kind of boring but this movie was fun

Superman is supposed to be a morality story. He still has to make the same choices we do because of his moral code and that can neutralize even someone as powerful as him.

A lot to like. A lot not to like.
It nailed his optimism and hopefulness (both as Clark and Superman).
It nerfed the frick out of his powers.
