shep says tim molton could be a star for the spring?
Posted on 2/4/09 at 11:36 am to dgnx6
Said he was playing well so far, I guess he means in the workout room?

This kid is being way overlooked and will be special. McCartney has already said how freaking good this kid could be.

He was burgeoning last year and people said he was WAY impressive in camp and what not.

moffit said the same thing.
said he was an animal.

reminds me SO MUCH of LaFell coming out of HS.
Great hands, good frame, overlooked in the class, but will put on more weight and has all the tools to be a great one.

I heard McCartney said that if he keeps improving like he has, he has the chance to be one of the best receivers to ever go through LSU.

how freaking nuts is that.
Molton, Tolliver, Randle, Kelly. Tell me any D backfield that could handle that. Throw in Calhoun, Williams, possibly shepard for slot guys. Holy shite.

yeah, i remember reading somewhere that his improvement has been incredible. and the quote "could be one of the best ever at LSU" comes to mind...he's one of the guys I'm most excited to see

You're also forgetting D. Peterson who supposedly has been very impressive and C. Toliver redshirted last year. We've got a sick group of WR's for the future.

Damn I did forget about him. Stud. Tolliver. We'll see. I don't know how he sees the field.

That list of WRs is why LSU will be successful with or without the #1 WR recruit of 2009.
What is Molton's size now? I saw once where he was 6'3",170lbs. He needs to get up to 190-200 to handle the SEC beating week in week out.

Who have you guys signed?

I think that we lost out on a potential signee because you insisted on talking about Guidry leaving before he himself was ready to release the news. I don't think that it's any coincidence that at least one switched commitments right after that happened.
If you don't think that recruits, and coaches from other schools don't read the message boards (particularly this one), and use the information then you're just wrong.
