I’m guessing the bill is two parts.

1: ensuring 18-24 year olds will be charged as adults.

2: the age in which a juvenile can be charged as an adult goes from 16 to 14.

Personally, I’m ok with charging a 14 year old as an adult if the crime is worthy of it. But the OP’s tweet might not be giving the full story.
